Bipolar disorder, is a mental disorder that causes periods of depression and periods of abnormally elevated mood.
The book was designed in a memory of Renata Azman, a journalist and writer, who was writing haiku poems about her inner struggle before her premature passing.
The book represents the challenges and characteristics of bipolar disorder in many ways - from its minimal Black and White design to the pages which are made from tracing paper (so you can see that something is coming, but you don't know what is it yet). Each haiku appears below the previous one, while listing through the book, so you get an experience of traveling through the time and ending at the bottom of the last page with the last haiku, following with an empty page - the exit.
