I worked closely with boutique leadlight company Sayes and Son to to develop a visual identity for the launch of their new business.
Leadlights are decorative windows made by cutting pieces of glass of various textures and colours, and soldering them together with lead strips. Traditional leadlight designs are non-pictorial and tend to employ simple geometric patterns using diamonds, squares or circular shapes.

The circle presents a window, connecting two shapes together into an S (father and son = Sayes).
The home in the centre of the design represents that it's both a family-run business and that they service primarily the residential market.
The lines work as dividers like those made from lead in the windows they produce.
